Founded in 2025 by Yves Finaz, KOLD was born from a passion for skiing and a lifelong connection to the Alps, inspired by the landscapes and memories that shaped him growing up in the mountains.

Over the years, that passion evolved beyond the sport itself. It became an appreciation for the visual language of mountain culture. KOLD emerged from the desire to translate this alpine heritage into objects that combine functionality with a timeless design sensibility.
